Jeden muž jel do Afriky... Vzal si s sebou svého psa. Pes začal honit motýly a ztratil se. A jak se tak toulal po Africe, vidí, jak se k němu řítí leopard a chce ho sežrat. Pes se lekne, ale všimne si kostí, co jsou kolem, usadí se a jednu začne žvýkat. Ve chvíli, kdy se leopard chystá skočit říká: "To vám řeknu, to byl ale chutný leopard, mňam, mňam! Jestlipak je jich tu víc?" Leopard to zaslechne a zarazí se uprostřed skoku. Odplíží se do křoví a říká si: "Fuj, ale to bylo o fous!" Viděla to opice a usoudila, že tohle všechno by se mohlo hezky zpenežit. Jde za leopardem a za mírnou odměnu mu vykecá, jak to bylo doopravdy. Leopard se rozzuří, že si z něho pes dělal srandu a říká: "Víš co, opice, vlez mi na záda a pojď se podívat, co provedu s tím psem!" Pes uvidí leoparda, jak utíká s opicí na zádech k němu: "Co udělám teď, proboha?" Místo útěku si sedne zády k leopardovi, předstírá že ho ještě nevidí a právě v okamžiku, kdy se k němu leopard přiblíží na doslech povídá: "Doprdele, kde je ta opice, už před hodinou jsem ji poslal pro dalšího leoparda!"
